Sean Biggerstaff was born in Glasgow, Scotland, on March 15, 1983. In 1997, the then-14 year old pisces cutie was discovered by Alan Rickman, who was directing the movie "The Winter Guest". Rickman was so impressed with him that he cast Sean to star as Tom in his movie, and hooked him up with an agent in London.
Sean's first job since then is one that will surely make his career skyrocket. He was cast as Gryffindor House's Quidditch Captain and Keeper, Oliver Wood, in the movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, based on the popular book by J.K. Rowling. The second movie in the series, based on the second book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, has already begun filming. The first movie was released yesterday, November 16, 2001, so I am sure we will be seeing more of Sean in the near future.
